Mistral is a personal care brand inspired by the love of fine fragrance and natural French products. Named after a wind that blows across Provence from the mountains to the sea, Mistral make bath, body and gift products that allow to escape, feel special and create your own European adventure. The overall product impact – the feminine aesthetics, natural product formulas and unique ingredients – all come together to create a memorable experience where a little luxury makes for a meaningful everyday pleasure.

The brand came to me with a goal of creating a set of delicate, elegant packaging designs for a new line of hand creams inspired by a Mediterranean garden. My custom-illustrated designs reflect the scents of their unique combinations of ingredients such as basil and lime blossom, cedrat and passion flower, fig and rose, and almond and jasmine. The natural, botanical illustrations catch the eye and convey the feelings of a sensory journey and peaceful relaxation in nature. To reflect the luxurious, yet natural and minimalistic character of the brand, a combination of elegant geometric sans-serif fonts came together in a classic, minimalistic layout with lots of white space to let the design breathe. These elegant, colourful designs help to reflect the quintessentially French scents and create a wonderful sensory journey.
