Sküma is a startup based in London focused on eliminating the bottled water industry and the plastic waste it creates. Their device purifies tap water to the highest level using reverse osmosis and then adds a specific mixture of minerals to recreate commercially sold mineral water.

They reached out to me needing a packaging design for a bottle of their natural mineral concentrate that is added to the purified tap water to transform it into mineral water. In my design I decided to feature a minimalist illustrative gradient pattern in the background inspired by the mineral particles that are added to the water. The blue colour of the pattern establishes a connection between the packaging and the blue accents on the device, making the look and feel of the packaging cohesive with the entire brand identity. Pure, clean and simple.
